How do I join VEOR?
You can sign up for our newsletter to receive updates about the release date of our app. Once we launch, you will be able to download our app from the App Store or Google Play.
What can I talk to VEOR Listeners about?
VEOR is a safe and non-judgmental space for you to talk about anything that is on your mind.
How do I find the right Listener to talk to?
When you send a chat request, our system will connect you with an available Listener who matches the topic and language preference of your choice. If you do not find the match helpful for any reason, you can always send a new request, and our system will match you with a different Listener.
Who are the Listeners on VEOR?
VEOR Listeners are volunteers from the community members who want to be a light to others by being a source of support.
How can I become a Listener?
To become a VEOR Listener, you have to complete our Listener Training Program and get approved by our reviewing team. You can access the training program in VEOR app once you create your VEOR account.
What is a support group?
A support group is a gathering of people with common experiences or concerns who provide emotional and moral support for one another.
Can I create my own support groups?
Yes, you can create your own support groups once you create your VEOR account. You can invite others to join the group using our invitation function in the app. However, these groups will not be searchable to the VEOR community.
To create groups that are visible to the VEOR community, you will need to complete our Facilitator Training Program (available to you in the app) and get approved by our reviewing team.
Are support groups on VEOR facilitated by professionals?
No. All of the support groups on VEOR are based on "peer-support" and are facilitated by their group members. These members are known as the facilitators of the group.
How can I become a facilitator?
If you create a support group, you will become a facilitator of the group by default. You can also become facilitators of other groups if you receive and accept facilitator invitations from the groups.
Are there any age restrictions?
You need to be at least 18 years of age to use our app and services at this time.
